Plants:

- Haplo-diploid life cycles
- mostly autotrophic (they make their own energy)
- photosynthesis
- Phsical features
- how they feed and reproduce
- multicellular organisms

Protists:

- Don't belong to any other kingdom
- microscopic
- classified by nutrition and reprodiction
- unicellular, multicellular or colonial
- base of food chain eg. plankton
- genrally equatic
- heterotrophic or autotrophic
- All are eukaryotic (have a nucleus)
